Latto and Anycia have teamed up to release a brand-new party anthem titled “Back Outside.” Produced by JetsonMade, the track is accompanied by a visually captivating music video that showcases the two rappers making their way through town to attend a lively house party, captured in stylish shots.
Anycia delivers bold lyrics on the high-profile single, rapping, “Stop worrying ’bout the s*** they type/ ‘Cause the same h**s see me and slurp. I’m a Southside b**** to the grave/ I’m a Southside b**** to the hearse.”
This collaboration marks the first time the Atlanta-based artists have worked together. “Back Outside” follows Anycia’s impressive debut EP, Extra, which made waves in October of the previous year. In the months since, Anycia has been on tour with Veeze and has released collaborative tracks with Karrahboo, Evilgiane, and Robb Bank$.
Speaking with BET, Anycia reflected on how her thriving music career has transformed her perspective, stating, “The best thing that I’ve gotten out of everything is the instant confidence boost… It’s an internal thing. It’s kind of one of those things where you tell yourself you can’t do something or you have every doubt in the world that it won’t work or just thinking about all the things that will go wrong. And then you finally do it and it works.”
