The documentary trailer showcases various aspects of Nas X’s life, starting with him waking up in bed at home and then transitioning to scenes of him walking on the beach, working in the recording studio, and preparing for a live performance.
In a voiceover, Nas X shares his experience of growing up with his sexuality as an unspoken topic, leading to anxiety attacks. He emphasizes the importance of coming out as a means of personal growth.
The documentary also looks back at the release of Nas X’s breakout hit, “Old Town Road” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus, and explores the challenges he faced in maintaining his authenticity within his family. Nas X describes the ongoing struggle faced by many individuals in the LGBTQ+ community as they strive for acceptance.
