Nicki Minaj collaborates with 50 Cent on a remix of her song “Beep Beep” from the album Pink Friday 2.
The alternative version of the song, with a duration of two and a half minutes, includes a fresh chorus by Nicki Minaj and a second verse by 50 Cent. In this version, both artists adopt a menacing tone, delivering equally threatening lyrics over the production by Murda Beatz.
“Beep Beep” not only serves as the first-ever collaboration between the two artists but also arrives shortly after the release of Minaj’s highly-anticipated album, Pink Friday 2.
The album’s weekend streams, estimated to be around 41 million, have established a new record for the largest debut of a female hip-hop album in Spotify’s history. Additionally, it has achieved eligibility for a gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) by selling a minimum of 500,000 units in the United States.
Furthermore, the album is expected to make its debut at the top spot on the upcoming Billboard 200 chart.
In March 2024, Minaj is embarking on a global tour to promote her latest album. The tour will include performances in various cities across the United States, including Oakland, Denver, Las Vegas, Seattle, and Phoenix.
Additionally, Minaj will also be taking her tour to the United Kingdom and Europe, bringing her music to fans across different continents.
